Five Communities Engaged by Kwahu West Municipal Assembly on Development Priorities
The Kwahu West Municipal Assembly has continued its commitment to inclusive and participatory governance through a series of community engagements aimed at ensuring that the needs, concerns and aspirations of residents inform the Municipality’s development agenda.
As part of this initiative, the Assembly today engaged residents of Abetensu, Nkawanda No. 2, Asuosu, Nkawanda No. 1 and Kwahu Nsaaba.
The engagements provided an important platform for the Assembly to update community members on ongoing and completed development projects, while also giving residents the opportunity to raise concerns, share their priorities and propose practical solutions to challenges affecting their communities.
The discussions further strengthened collaboration between the Assembly and the communities, with emphasis on collective responsibility, accountability and the need for continued partnership in advancing development across Kwahu West.
The Municipal Chief Executive expressed his sincere appreciation to Nananom, Assembly Members Hon. Apeku Julius Justice and Hon. Seth Frimpong, the Works Engineers, Administration, Physical Planning Department, Planning Department, Budget Unit, Municipal Information Services/PRO, the Media and all other stakeholders whose dedication and contributions helped make the engagements successful.
The Kwahu West Municipal Assembly remains committed to bringing governance closer to the people, strengthening community participation and ensuring that development interventions reflect the genuine needs and priorities of residents.
