Kwahu West Municipal Assembly Commended for Improvements in Sanitation
The Kwahu West Municipal Assembly has received high commendation from a Rotary team led by Dr. Ralph of the Holy Family Hospital, Nkawkaw, for the significant improvements recorded in sanitation across the Municipality.
The commendation followed the team’s visit to the Municipality and their reflection on their participation in last year’s clean-up exercise. The team expressed their admiration for the remarkable transformation witnessed within a relatively short period, particularly in the area of environmental sanitation.
The team commended the dedication and commitment of the Assembly’s sanitation officials, led by the Municipal Environmental Health Officer (MEHO), for their efforts in improving sanitation and maintaining cleaner communities across Kwahu West.
As part of the engagement, the Rotary team interacted with the Assembly to gain a deeper understanding of the strategies, interventions and measures being implemented to achieve the observed improvements in sanitation.
The team also expressed its willingness to support the Municipality’s sanitation efforts and pledged their support towards sustaining and further improving the gains made.
The Kwahu West Municipal Assembly appreciates the Rotary team for the recognition, engagement and commitment to supporting sanitation initiatives in the Municipality.
The Assembly remains committed to strengthening environmental health and sanitation management and calls on residents, businesses and other stakeholders to continue playing their part in keeping Kwahu West clean, healthy and environmentally sustainable.
